I don’t have much to say this week. Frankly, I am absolutely shattered.
Over the past few days, my – now old – housemates and I have sawn a sofa in half, taken bolt cutters to a mattress, dismantled two wardrobes and played a twisted form of ten-pin bowling with the side panels and some dining room chairs at a recycling centre. We have climbed over 97 flights of stairs (according to fit bit,) in one day, each, we’ve rented a carpet cleaner from B&Q taught ourselves to use it; subsequently pulling up 50% of our carpet. We’ve eaten pizza in a completely empty house, before I moved from one house to our (being Hannah and I) new flat and all on about 10 hours sleep over two days.
It didn’t feel like a weekend, but when Hannah and I got the keys to our new place, we realised that it was all going to be worth the hassle.
Want to see it? Well, welcome to the first unofficial viewing of our new flat. Official visits can be booked through Hannah and Alex. Enjoy…
